Cost 2: Search data, paid straight to DataForSEO
Pay as you go
You open your own account with DataForSEO, the data provider behind the tools. You pay them directly, with no markup from us, and only for what you use. DataForSEO bills in US dollars.
- One-off minimum top-up: US$50. The balance stays on your account until you use it. There is no monthly fee from DataForSEO.
- New accounts get US$1 of free trial credit.
- You can set daily spending limits in your DataForSEO dashboard.

Yes. Every client gets a dedicated workspace on their own address, behind a login. Your keywords and projects are not shared with other clients.
What will the data actually cost?
It depends on how much you search, track and crawl. The table above shows DataForSEO’s exact rates. You can set a daily spending limit in your own dashboard, so a surprise bill isn’t possible.
Is this a replacement for Semrush or Ahrefs?
It covers the core jobs most small businesses need: keywords, rankings, audits and backlinks. It’s simpler and far cheaper, but it isn’t an enterprise suite and won’t have every report those platforms offer.
Do I need technical skills?
No. We handle the setup and the technical side. You log in and use it.
